Bible Focus: 1 Samuel 13

• Being impatient can lead us to do foolish things. And foolish things have consequences. King Saul became impatient and did a foolish thing. Come out and learn how you can, hopefully, avoid doing foolish things.

Older Kids (2nd-5th grade):

  • 1 Samuel 12:24, “But be sure to fear the Lord and serve Him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things He has done for you.”

  • 1 Samuel 13:14b, “…the Lord has sought out a man after His own heart and appointed him ruler of His people, because you have not kept the Lord’s command.”

  • 1 Samuel 14:6b, “…Perhaps the Lord will act in our behalf. Nothing can hinder the Lord from saving, whether by many or by few.”
