GEMS FROM THE LIFE OF JESUS.
A JOURNEY THROUGH THE BOOK OF MATTHEW
BIBLE: MATTHEW 27
God’s love for us is absolutely amazing! Jesus took so much abuse and even died to pay for our sin as our substitute. Jesus was condemned, flogged, mocked, beaten, ridiculed and insulted to pay our debt that we could never pay…all because He loves us. The prophet Isaiah said, “…He was crushed for our iniquities [our sin]; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5
