Bible Focus: 1 Samuel 1
The Book of 1 Samuel begins in Chapter 1 with the birth of Samuel, a boy who served the Lord mightily all his days. May we want to live a life like Samuel - committed to the Lord in words and action.
Older Kids (2nd-5th grade):
Memory verse:
John 3:16-17, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.“
1 Samuel 1:17, “Eli answered, ‘Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of Him.’“
