Bible Focus: 1 Samuel 26

Theme Night: PAJAMA NIGHT! (wear your pajamas, so you are ready for bed later AND get extra bucks!)

• King Saul was once again on the hunt for David to kill him, but God was protecting David. King Saul and all his men fell into a deep sleep, because the Lord had put them to sleep. David could have ended the hunt for his life, but instead, David showed mercy. Just like God showed him (and us) mercy too!

Older Kids (2nd-5th grade):

  • Galatians 5:16, “So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.”

  • Psalm 54:4, “Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me.”
