Bible Focus: 1 Samuel 11
The bad guys seemed to have some of the Israelites cornered in a very bad situation. But God moved the new king of Israel, Saul, into action to rescue his fellow Israelites.
Older Kids (2nd-5th grade):
Memory verse:
1 Samuel 11:6, “When Saul heard their words, the Spirit of God came powerfully upon him, and he burned with anger.”
Galatians 5:22-23, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, [patience], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
Romans 8:14, “For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.”
